How do we choose between personal survival and that of an entire planet?

En 2018, scientists warned there were only 12 years. Now it’s 2026. The world has been living on a tipping point for over 8 years. Le temps a passé; but what has changed? Everything and nothing. Oui. Et alors? A group of youth committed to taking climate action the way they know best–theatre–attempt to perform for you the play they created 8 years ago, again.

But how? They’ve changed (haven’t we all changed?) and yet the fight for climate justice is like … like trying to compost concrete. How do they sustain caring for a cause their generation has championed for decades? How does anyone? Is it ever ok to stop? How do we choose between personal survival and that of an entire planet?

In 2018, plusieurs scientifiques lancèrent ce message au monde: il ne reste plus que 12 ans. Nous voici en 2026. Le monde vit sur un point de bascule depuis plus de 8 ans. Time has passed; mais qu’est-ce qui a changé?

In 2018, plusieurs scientifiques lancèrent ce message au monde: il ne reste plus que 12 ans. Nous voici en 2026. Le monde vit sur un point de bascule depuis plus de 8 ans. Time has passed; mais qu’est-ce qui a changé? Tout et rien. Alors? Un groupe de jeunes engagés à lutter contre les changements climatiques de la meilleure façon qu’ils connaissent–le théâtre–tentent de jouer pour vous, encore une fois, la pièce qu’ils ont créé il y a 8 ans. Mais comment? Ils ont changé (n’avons-nous pas tous changé?), et pourtant le combat pour la justice climatique, c’est comme… comme essayer de composter du béton. Comment font-ils pour continuer à se soucier d’une cause que leur génération défend depuis des décennies? Comment pouvons-nous choisir entre notre survie personnelle et celle d’une planète entière?
