Text CV for Kristina & 100 Watt

watercolor painting of the torso of a woman facing to her left, as she clutches fabrics
Painting by Deborah Moore of Kristina performing in Woyzeck’s Head, adaptation of Georges Buchner’s Woyzeck by James Richardson, with Andrew Moore and Katie Bunting.

From artist Deborah Moore: “I’m so pleased about the watercolour! I don’t know if I had told you this, but I recall that in thinking about the composition of this piece and the character you were playing, the choice of cool shadowy colours were meant to recede somewhat, while I brought out the skin tones to highlight her vulnerability and humanity.  I thought your expression was really beautiful from the photo I was working with and I think it comes through here. I also didn’t mix any colours on the palette but allowed the pure pigments to mingle on the paper and run a bit.”
